Opal is a registered charity providing independent advocacy services and activities for individuals with learning disabilities or are otherwise autistic in Oldham. They aim to help people with disabilities or with autism as they believe they deserve the same life chances as everybody else.

Opal believe that everyone is equal and deserve to have a voice along with a choice when it comes to themselves. Assisting and providing support for individuals with learning disabilities and autism is at the heart of what Opal set out to achieve. They offer various activities such as day services, a women’s group, independent advocacy service and a learning disability friends project.
